Book 2 of the triology follows the journey of Patrick’s daughter Sally Darcy. She moves to London to stay with her aunts in 1937, where she finishes her journalism studies just as the Second World War breaks out. Milly Darcy, a now a famous opera singer, goes missing after falling in love with a Swiss German officer and so begins Sally’s dangerous journey to find her. Another epic book by Doreen Slinkard.
